12-Hour DWI Course

Students will learn about the dangers and legal consequences associated with alcohol use over a three-day period. It is normally ordered to first time DWI offenders, and satisfies Court, Probation, and Texas DPS requirements. By the end of the program, students will achieve the following:

  1. Obtain information on the dangers associated with alcohol and drugs in relation to driving.
  2. Identify their patterns leading to drinking or drugged driving behavior.
  3. Generate a plan to diminish the possibility of being involved in future DWI conduct.

Mandatory Attendance Notice

Please be advised that attendance for all scheduled class sessions is mandatory.

Students are not permitted to miss any class day, and make-up sessions are not allowed.

Failure to attend any session may result in dismissal from the course, in accordance with program guidelines and court requirements.

 

Course Validity Notice

Please be advised that this course may not be valid for Hidalgo CSCD.

Students are responsible for verifying acceptance of this course with their Supervision Officer, Judge, or referring agency prior to enrollment.

Failure to confirm acceptance may result in the course not being recognized for your specific requirement.
