A Better Choice Education Program

Battering Intervention & Prevention Program (BIPP)

The Battering Intervention & Prevention Program (BIPP) is a structured, accountability-based educational program designed to promote victim safety and address patterns of abusive behavior. The program emphasizes personal responsibility, non-violent decision-making, and long-term behavior change through guided intervention. BIPP is commonly ordered by Texas courts in family violence-related cases and is approved by TDCJ/CJAD. We are now approved to provide BIPP classes virtually, allowing eligible participants to complete the program online through live, instructor-led sessions. Enrollment is ongoing, and completion documentation is provided to courts, probation officers, or attorneys as required.

The program focuses on increasing accountability and awareness of how abusive behaviors impact victims, families, and the community. Participants work on identifying belief systems that support violence, developing healthier communication strategies, and learning constructive alternatives to control or aggression. The goal is to support long-term behavioral change and contribute to safer relationships and communities.
